Our Commitment

Tax Wellness LLC is committed to making our website, calculators, and client tools usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want everyone who visits taxwellness.com to be able to find information, use our calculators, and reach us without barriers.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

What We Do

  • Use semantic HTML and meaningful headings so pages read sensibly with a screen reader
  • Provide text alternatives for images, icons, and logos that carry information
  • Keep the site fully operable by keyboard, with visible focus on interactive elements
  • Label form fields, buttons, and icon-only controls so their purpose is announced
  • Maintain sufficient colour contrast between text and background
  • Support browser zoom and text resizing up to 200% without loss of content
  • Design pages to work on phones and tablets as well as desktop screens
  • Avoid content that flashes or moves in ways that cannot be paused

Known Limitations

We review the site regularly, but some areas may not yet meet every guideline. Where we know of a gap we are working to close it:
  • Some PDF documents (for example IRS forms and downloadable guides) may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need one in an accessible format, contact us and we will provide it.
  • Third-party content we embed or link to — appointment booking, payment processors, and government sites — is governed by those providers' own accessibility practices.
  • Interactive calculators and data-entry tools are being reviewed for keyboard and screen-reader use; a few complex grids may still be easier to use with a mouse.

Assistive Technology

Our site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) together with common assistive technologies such as screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack), screen magnifiers, and speech-recognition software. Older browsers and assistive technologies may not deliver the same experience.
